You should ask your boss/temp agency. But don't ask about the average time, ask how long *your* assignment is expected to last. This way you know exactly how long you'll be there and can plan accordingly in the event you aren't hired on permanently at the end of your assignment.

It depends on the client. before Apple One sent you on this assignment, they were suppose to tell you your duties, your rate of pay, and how long the assignment is going to last. If you are going to work, you HAVE to know. so call your Apple one representative and ask how long the assignment is. I am working with a whole bunch of agencies as well and I usually know when my assignment is going to end, so I will be ready for my next one.

It would help if you asked the supervior who you are working with or even any of the employees, "Who am I filling in for?" That way you can gauge better what the length of the assignment will be. If someone is out on maternity leave- you ask them, "How far along was she? How long does she plan to stay out? etc. If someone abruptly left the position, you may only be there until they find a suitable replacement. If you want the open job ask them what the proper title of the position is and apply for it outright-again, ask the supervisor about the best way to go about it.

It depends on the Temp Agency you are doing your assignment with.
Normally the assignments are completed on a short-term basis such as 3-6 months. Or they can be done long-term basis such as one year or more.
If you need to find out how long your assignment is ask your recruiter or check out the offer letter if you received one.
Hope this helps.....
God Bless.....

It depends on how long the company needs you. Many temps at the company I work with end up applying for positions here and they are better able to get the job over other applicants since they already have experience doing the job.

depends on the project, temp employment could range anywhere from 1 month to a year; however the standard is 3 months. you should ask your HR person; as an employee you have every right to know how long your employment will last.

There is no average time. When you get the assignment, they usually tell you how long it will last.
