part-time is anything less then 40 hours a week, but a typical part-time job is 20 to 30 hrs a week

It depends on the company. If you are working less then 40, then it is part time while some say 24 hrs or less is part time. So, it varies with each company.

i think up to 35, 40 is full time, but 35 hours is still a long week! Sheesh!
(I work two jobs and one is a full 40 and the other is 15, also a very long week!)
