In some states, two days of no call, no show is considered job abandonment and will result in that employee being dismissed. Perhaps in some, even one day...

Most employment is "at will", where termination can be made at any time for any reason. If the employee was too inconsiderate to even call in (or have someone call in for him), they better hope that they are "irreplacable" or they will almost certainly be reporting to an unemployment line. Certain union jobs could have protection of some sort, but even there, there are many openings for dismissal. Better get a lucky rabbits foot and start rubbing it...you may well need it!

Lesson found out yet no concerns. seem does she have a start certificates? Does she have get entry to to government data? No she does not and you'd be 18 quickly sufficient! If she is that shallow possibly she isn't the lady for you, and doubtless she wan't being as elementary the two possibly Ms 19 is in actuality basically 18 and desires to look greater mature - super disgrace her behaviour says in any different case. Now learn from this no lies even white ones, in case you do not choose somebody to appreciate some thing an elementary " that's for me to appreciate and you in looking out" could be a ok reaction to declare "palms off i don't think of you opt for that information purely yet". you do not could reveal each little ingredient approximately your self!

It depends, Texas is a work at will state, so you can quit for any reason and your employer can fire you for any legal reason. Not showing up for 3 days or calling or contacting your employer, here in Texas, is a good reason to fire someone, but where I work, the supervisor is required to send someone to your house to see if you're okay, and then they would fire you if you're just AWOL.

Employees may be fired for any reason at all. It is totally at the disgretion of the employer, so if you missed three days without telling someone, I'd apologize and not expect to be forgiven. either way, it's polite to apologize for your own wrongs.

It depends on your state. The company may be required to issue a number of warnings before termination. The company policy may also have something to say about that above and beyond the requirements of law.

Yes, they can be fired. In many, if not most states we are hired "at will", which means you may quit at your own will and you may be fired at the will of the company. It all depends if you have a contract or if you do not.
How can a company run its business if they cannot depend on its employees?
