I'm thinking two, three days tops is about all the work I want to do.
Heck, I should just quit work entirely.

I can't stand waking up in the morning, nonetheless FIVE days in a row. It's just not worth it.

Given that salary & fringe benefits almost equal.

Job scope in marketing/business development, but two different industries.

Concerns: Learning curve? Exposure? Assist in looking for new prospects in future? Ok ok, in a way its important as to which one do you think will 'look' better on the CV/resume?

My boss pis sed me off today and I didn't want to but I cried. I have never cried before at work, I just let them see me mad.I cried because I felt like I was being attacked by all the guys.He was telling that this is a man's job and if I going to do it I will have to toughen up and defend myself or the guys will walk all over me.Its hard for me to be the only female in a "man's" job and I think crying made it look like I am a weak person.I am also the youngest in my area of work.I been doing this job for a year and I like what I do. All the guys at my work try to test me.Some do it because they don't like that a female does a job better than them. Other do it just because they are a s s holes. I do tech. work, like electrical, battery maint, etc.for a warehouse. How do I stand my grounds to all this men and not loose my job? I want to be able to go to work and just do my job with out the bullsh**. I feel like I have already proved myself over and over again and I shouldn't have to.

I will graduate next year with a degree from a local college to be a Paralegal. I am so ready to get out of Wisconsin (where I have lived almost my entire life). I was wondering where would be a good place to start a career as a paralegal. There have been places like Boston Minneapolis and Seattle that I would have like to go but I am not sure if I would make enough to live there just starting out.

Where is your favorite city in the U.S? I do not like the south, I have already lived there. Any cities espically in high demand for Paralegals? I doubt it but it could.

I had planned to move to Toronto but I know I can not afford it right off bat. I'll need a few years experience before making enough.

A similar company (automotive financing) offers me a job for a 15% raise (same job basically). When I'm about to resign to change jobs, they call me to say that they are freezing all hirings. A month later they call back to check if I'm still available and say they need me right away. Asked them for a two-year golden parachute and they said no can do. The change would imply longer working hours, longer commuting time, less vacation days but better prospectives in a more solid company. Would you trust them?

I am 70 years old having very good experience and most efficient in drafting important communications and also having very good accuracy and speed in Computer in word, which I learnt by myself. I worked in various offices, institutions and court and am expert in official correspondence, official procedures, drafting agreements and varied matters. Having become a rolling stone I could not get any moss (saving) and at this old age of 70 I am struggling hard to meet both ends in my family. In the last leg I joined this institution and working as an officer since the last 7 years. But they are paying me a scant little amount but getting good service from me with my experience. All important letters /agreements are drafted by me.They are keeping as temporary without PF EL or any perks, Like this they are keeping many on temporary but I am the sr.most. The salary is very low after 7 years now 5,000/-. How can I get justice ? Please suggest and help. Can I get good job elsewhere thanks.

I am going to take the pharmacy tech certification exam in a week or so, and was wondering if anyone can give me some last minute study advice. I haven't checked on what the available study resources are, but I have been taking courses in bio, chem, and calculus in the pre-pharm program at the University I go to.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

been in the position a good six months. an entry level sales support/marketing position, a field i hope to be a long term career. don't want to give up or seem like a job hopper yet worked at a previous job for 6 years and at this current company for over a year. i feel no comradery among people here and i am frustrated at their lack of organizational skills managerially. i constantly feel like i do a bad job. plus there is no formal training. its has been labeled by internal employees as a "fly by the seat of your pants" company. i need some advice, seriously.

What do you think about this? We are loosing are jobs to people in India and other country's around the world. I called my visa company and a man answered. He could hardly speak any English. He had all my financial stuff to do with my credit card. I asked him simple questions and he didn't even have the competence to answer my questions. I asked him what part of India he was in just to make sure that I suspected correctly and he said northern India in the Himalayas. People are always getting after the Mexican worker for doing jobs here that us Americans look down upon and all the while our jobs have went straight out of this country and went to India and other poorer counties because they can pay them way less than us. I think we should take a stand. What do you think. Don't fear the Mexican in this country fear the Eastern poorer counties that have your potential job and mine.
