Try 12 hours a day five days per week. 12 hours of non-stop working with very little in the ways of a break. On my days off I sleep and work some more on my projects. The worst part of it all is that most of the people I know make twice as much as me. I made the fatal mistake of changing jobs and moving. Now I am dammed for eternity and I live in shame. It could be worse I could have starved to death in a remote slave riddled location like some of the others. Eventually I will get back to my real friends and enter a job with better hours and maybe even a life. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow even if the flow is getting pounded up your ***. I always caution my friends about changing jobs too quickly.

In many countries people work 6 days a week and they still find enough time to enjoy life. The problem is not with how many days we work, The problem is the amount of stress we have at work! But I do wish I could work only 4 days a week. Right now, that is impossible!

I hear ya! I feel you on that one, I am soooo sick of working, that I am ready to call it quits in about two years (gotta be debt free before making that move).
At any rate........does your employer offer a reduced work week? Which means you would work 3-4 days per week, however within those days, you are going to have to work longer hours, to recoup the time for the days that you will not be there.
There is always a catch for the attempt to make our lives easier.

how about work 2 ten hour days, have 1 day off on Wednesday, then work 2 more 10 hour days. Then off the weekend. Most people would love that.

The Dutch do. They solved a rising unemployment problem by agreeing to shorten the work week to 4 days. Genius ... stoners.

5 days a week to work is definitely fine. 6 days is the best. maybe you dont like your work. and what would you do for the rest of the week? find a work that you like .any way vacation leave is granted every year. you are not helping the economy as well as the productivity if you are that lazy.

ok if we had a 6 day week, you would think that after 4 you would burn out. If we just keep lowering the standards, it will sooner or later get down to zero but hey hopefully technology can replace us as workers by then

good for some, why don't you get a job working on the Internet at home? you work at your own pace and earn money as you go? you can get up anytime of the day as long as you meet your quota. :)
