I have designed a software solution partnered with a consultancy group for a company which can really earn millions, I`m at the end session of my MBA course and the placements are at verge, should I look for a good placement or go for setting up the venture. Bcoz , the more I happen to emphasize on placement avenues, the more I loose focus from the software package.

I have a high paid job that I have become unhappy in. I have been approached by some people who are talented with a good track record to run a start up. My salary will be the same and I'll get some stock. What should I do? How risky are start ups? What's the downside?

I love photography, I just dont like taking pictures of people very much. When I think of ways to make money (weddings, events, journalism, portraits) they all involve taking pictures of people. Is there any hope of working as a photograhper taking pictures of something other than people

I do....am I weird? I love budgeting, and I like the feeling of responsibility paying bills gives me. Right now, i'm a college student with no dependants, or husband. Will I always be so happy to fork over the dollars?

I work as a pilot car driver. I was fired due to the fact that I became pregnant while employed. My doctor insisted I take some time off due to a history of miscarriages. I was called to the office where I was told that I was being fired because I could not at this time meet the phsyical requirments of my job.

I've been on my current job for six months and I like it. I get paid well, treated good and the job is great. But I just met my ex-boss -which was very good to me as well- and he offered me to re-join the company I worked for before with the same position I have now but a slightly bigger salary.

I worked for that company for three years, and they tried to hold me back when I decided to move for a way bigger salary to my current company, to no avail. I'm contemplating right now, but I need some insights.

So, aside from the slight raise of current salary, what would really make you move back if you were me?

I recently sent a resume and cover letter in response to an ad for an administrative assistant. The next day I received an e-mail from the potential employer with a downloadable job application for me to complete and return. One of the questions on the application is "May we contact your present employer?". OK, standard question. But then right beside it is "If no, why?" I don't want my current employer to know that I am looking for another job. How should I answer the "why" question without saying my current company totally blows??? Thanks!

At work, I have a great job and I'm really getting into the groove of things. I have done more cleaning and streamlining in the last three weeks than she did in her two years here (like decluttering the kitchen, the copy room, the file room and reorganizing the office). HOWEVER, she comes in CONSTANTLY to see one of the guys here and I feel extremely threatened--even though I know she's moving in 2 weeks to Florida. I know that the owner wanted to hire her back, and my boss won in hiring me...but still! WHY oh WHY? I'm not normally a jealous person!

I always leave jobs, It gets boring,
I have to act like if I like it for a few months and then I get tired, so I leave.
I'm currently an administrative assistant and I'm really bored.
(I'm at yahoo answers instead of working)
I went to college and explored many interesting subjects, but in real life jobs aren't that amazing. You always have to sell something.
All I want is a real job that gives me satisfaction and pays the bills.
I've done a lot of research and I can't decide what's the best job for me. I'm good at traveling, really good.
but again, a real job wouldn't pay for just traveling.
