How can i get my poems published and make real money from them?

i have been writing poetrysince i wa slittle and i have been told by people tha tmaybe being a songwriter or selling them to major labels would be great money for me. they are mainly sad, anger or happy twist kind of poems.

Get the copyrights on your poems first (US Copyright office). Then take the time to research how to 'sell' them - maybe sending them to individual singers who you think would like your work.
