Just wondering if its okay to wear a cream colored trouser suit for an interview?
The interview is for the role of customer support associate in a retail shop.
I happened to burn my suit while trying to iron it :-( , now i'm stuck wondering if I need to go get a new one or if I could manage with a cream colored suit.

Plz help

As long as you don't have food spots all over it, I don't see that the color makes a difference. You could add some dark touches with accessories, if you are worried about it being too bright.

Good Luck!

No. You are NEVER suppose to wear a light colored suit to an interview. You would be surprised how it still matters to wear either a black, navy or dark gray suit to an interview. You are always suppose to wear a dark suit, with dark shoes, minimal amount of jewelry/accessories.

Yes it's business like. I just finished a Job Prep class where they should you how to do panel interviews and answer interview questions and what to wear. You can even wear red suits for interviews and I did and I was hired.

As long as you are not applying for a managers position, cream should be OK. For customer service associate, should be OK,
( unless it is like Saks or Neiman Marcus or something like that )

I don't see why not, I got my new job wearing pinstripte trousers and a jumper because it was cold. As long as you're smart and can sell yourself, then your outfit doesn't matter that much.
