I love photography, I just dont like taking pictures of people very much. When I think of ways to make money (weddings, events, journalism, portraits) they all involve taking pictures of people. Is there any hope of working as a photograhper taking pictures of something other than people

Very difficult to make money in photography unless you are willing to capture human subjects. You see, landscapes and subjects other than people don't have money. You will get satisfaction but you may also go hungry.
Why not use your talent and exploit the human subjects for funding that will allow you to enjoy the other realms of photography that you endear so much.
