Some women with a manly occupation look and act manly, more than on average. Do these women choose manly careers because of their innate manly personality, or do they start developing manly traits as a side-effect after choosing manly careers?

He is always looking at porn on his computer, and messing with himself in the process. We do not have a HR department, and as he is my manager, I think my only option is to go to an external organisation. Can anyone tell me who I can inform to make him stop this?

I am not the only person that this has happened to on the job. I am a very responcible employee with over 30 years food service, I have never had this issue at an employment before. This has happened twice to me here. And from my knowledge I have contacted the labor board and it is an illegal practice, I am looking for other alternatives for employment. This is my thinking, how many people are out there thinking they are always wrong because someone else says they are not doing there best and need to do better. We do have choices, because someone owns a resturaunt or is a manager doesn't always mean that he has your best interest at heart. Pissed absolutely.....It's the Princible of the thing to me.

I have a coworker who does not like me. It's not the other way around. People have told me that she's had several problems with other coworker throughout the year. It's been a continuous issue with this particular person. I'm not sure why she doesn’t care for me but it's gotten so ridiculous that she almost daily complains about me to my supervisor and when I explain why I handled a situation in the way I did, 99% of the time it's obvious that she's just creating drama. I work in a very professional environment and for the most part ignore her rants. I do my job and get along with everyone else. In the morning I say good morning to her despite her everyday ignoring me. I can honestly say I've done nothing to her. Other people have suggested a possible emotional problem since this has been an issue with other people as well. They want me to have a sit down with her and get our feelings out. I think this is ridiculous. How do I approach this without looking uncooperative?

I come to work on time (if not early). I do my job correctly everyday (if not exceed the mininum). I never call in sick.

My problem is here I work side by side with this employee(we are equal). She always comes in late. She calls in all the time. She even called in once said she would be in later and never showed up(no call to let know). Without her here, everything gets thrown onto me. She is very rude and inconsiderate towards me (I believe always be nice to someone no matter what-I like to kill her with kindness). She tells me what to do and how to do things (when we are a team; we do the same work!).

I've already talked to my boss about her rude she is and she just goes back to him saying "she is soo not like." But, of course he doesnt have to see or be near how she acts (its only towards me noone else!). And he just got fed up that he said no more complaining, or else he will fire both of us! So now I keep my mouth shut and take it up the...

Im a 28 yr old doctor and I plan on studying to be a clinical psychologist. However that will take at least 7-9 yrs. I'll be between 35-37 yrs old when I finish. Is that too old to start a new career as a psychologist? Should I just stick with the job I have now, which is pretty unsatisfying?

62 year old with 36 years of service with the company. Has technical job, but has not kept pace with technical advances. This employee is not inclined to take courses but will if forced.

You are this persons new manager with a vision to further advance the output of this position. Do you develop the talent you have (force a training program) or find a replacement?

Or do you have other suggestions?
