With questions like that, you wonder why so many people are unemployed. Maybe not you, but others.
Average person works 5 days per week, as Saturday and Sunday are weekends.
There are 52 weeks per year:
52 x 5 = 260 week days per year
Assume 25 days Holidays per year:
260 - 25 = 235 days
Bank holidays vary depending on year, employer etc, but the average is 12 days per year:
235 - 12 = 223 days worked per year.

Assuming it's a 5 day week, then 227 days.
52 weeks x 5 = 260 working days
260 - 8 bank holidays = 252 days
252 - 25 holidays = 227 days

Average person works 5 days per week.
There are 52 weeks per year:
52 x 5 = 260 week days per year
Assume 20 days Holidays per year + 8 Bank/Public holidays
260 - 28 = 232 days
Bank holidays vary depending on year, employer etc, but the average is 8 days per year:
232 - 8 = 232 days worked per year.

theres 365 days in a year (unless its a leap year of course, but we'll go on a standard year!)
52 weeks of the year which means 104 days are weekends. therefore, less 104 = 261
then there are 8 bank holidays, therefore 261-8=253
assuming 25 days holiday, 253-25=228
THIS MEANS THERE ARE 228 WORKING DAYS IN THE YEAR!!!!!!!!
