My husband has an interview today, what would make him stick out more than all the rest of the people being interviewed?

He should do some research on the company.

Make his answers longer than 30 seconds.

Do not talk with his hands.

Look the interviewer in the eye when answering.

Shake hands when introduce and wait to be seated.

Have his resume with him when interviewing, just in case the interviewer doesnt have it already.

Thank the interviewer after the interview.

The very next day send a thank you letter or card for the interview.

Confidence, not not *********. Show the interviewer that you have confidence in your abilities as a worker, and also indicate that your always willing to expand on your skills. A combination of trust in your own abilities and demonstrating a willingless to learn will always score you big points!

He should research the company and learn about its current issues, then tell the interviewer how his skills can help them meet their goals.

Ask questions that would put the employer in the mindset that you are the employee that will get hired.

Honesty, not trying too hard, professional appearance, be relaxed even if he isn't!
