We have lived here for over a year, in a duplex. The other side was vacant UNTIL TODAY when new tenant moved in. We knew our landlord was in default on the mortgage, and have continued to pay rent in hopes he would not let it happen. But he DID. And now that the foreclosure has occurred (last week) we have found in the courthouse filed mortgage documents a rider which states our landlord (and I quote) has "no borrower right to reinstate after acceleration". Should we just get ready to move out? A notice was posted on the property 2 weeks ago, which advised of the foreclosure proceedings on the duplex, and gave notice to respond within 30 days, which we had an attorney do so on our behalf, that we occupied the premises, as if that might help. AND the new tenant next door just told me she paid 6 mths. rent IN ADVANCE to move in here, signed a lease yesterday, and didn't get a receipt. Does anyone think she got scammed, and does anybody else think I best find a new place to live ASAP?

Lets say I give my 3 weeks notice on Dec. 7th that I'd like to stop working Jan 1st (yet I get Dec 24th through Jan 1st off, paid). Should I do this or just leave as of Dec 24th and have my new employer pay for my week vacation?

I'm 50/50 on this one.. I find it weird to have my last week on the job as being a vacation. I also find it weird to have my first week on the job as being vacation.

I would like to have it to where i can make a store and instead of buying tons of products to keep everywhere i would like to know of a wiccan store online that wouldn't mind me putting there items on my store then people can click a buy now button that goes to there site and they can buy through them and they ship it but i get credit and a certain amount of money for it? Any help would be great. I don't want to have to work with one that wants a tax id and all that, i don't want to do that unless it gets big. At this moment i don't think it will be that big of an income so don't want to go through getting a tax id. Any help would be great!

I have a good $50,000 I'd like to invest somehow to make a MINIMUM of $1,500 a month to live off of. My total monthly bills are about $1,200 a month with rent and bills and all. $1,500 a month would be nice as it would cover me for the month and leave a small amount for entertainment as well as allow me to keep all of my paychecks to invest more or do whatever i want with them. I do not want to hear anything about network marketing or any business opportunities on or offline as I want to simply invest the money somehow without having to physically work or keep track of any type of business stuff. If anyone knows of any types of stock options or plans that will allow me to generate $1,500 a month with the $50,000 and that would also allow me withdraw the money without penalization please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Got my GMAT scores back, hit a 730. I'm an old man at 32. Sick and tired of being poor (highest salary ever made is 35k). My score indicates I have (within reason) my choice of schools. Poverty has jaded me to the point where I care about nothing except wealth (I know, it disgusts me too). But so it is. What schools/majors will get me six figures upon graduation, and a million a year within a decade. Just feeling it out, and "Yahoo answers" has always provided me with excellent answers to other questions, so what the heck. Please don't respond unless you really know what you're talking about. And sorry about being a materialistic a**hole. I wasn't always. Thanks!!

The complex that I currently live informed me today that when my lease is up in February, I will have 60 days after to either move into another unit, and have my rent go up from $1129 with some paid utilities to $1410 plus water, sewage and garbage or to find a new place to live. They said it's because they need to renovate the remaining apartments that haven't been renovated so they can sell the property. Can they legally do this? And if so, can they legally force me to pay more for another unit, when they are making me move into another unit and it is not voluntary?

During my time there I witnessed a lot of unethical behavior some of it illegal. Our division manager wants us to report anything that doesn't seam right to him. The reason I didn't do it before is because he intimidated me into keeping quit. I really want to report him so someone else doesn't have to go through what I went throu. I have a lot of proof and some witnesses Has anyone done anything like that before? Can I get in any legal trouble over it?

Moving out with boyfriend...will be 19. Is first time moving out for both of us. Thinking of either an appartment or small house. Both of us have jobs and go to college. We also both have a car that is fully paid off. We have no idea on any of the expenses that we should expect or what to look for or what we need.

Ok, so I figure I'm already screwed and on the verge of a heart attack, lol but here's my situation.

I worked this year from April-current claiming only myself until early July then I went exempt. I was misguided by co workers into thinking I could claim exempt while working fulltime for 6 months without facing penalty.

Well I just unfortunately started doing my research and redid my W4 again claiming myself with one allowance. I've made about 14 grand thus far and have had 3 raises since hire in.

Can anyone please help me or advise me what to do?
I don't care if I have to redo the W4 again and get them to pull out 50% of my check at this point. I'm scared :(

We have personally pd out $$ and are expecting a refund as are apparently many others who appear to have been scammed wiring money to Canada for "collateral" on an advance payment loan (which I've since learned is illegal is most states)

I am in real estate and on alot of for sale by owners there is a cell phone number instead of home number. Some I can go on cross directory but some are rentals and they only have cell phone numbers. All I have been able \to find are sites you have to set up accounts with.

I'm totally going crazy over here. Today I had it out with my real estate agent. She is rushing me all of a sudden. I understand she is working for "free" right now, but I can't be rushed. I signed with her in early August. Is that bad? There is too much inventory! (in Michigan). I'm afraid of making a bad decision :(

EVERYTIME I see a perfect house, it either 1) has an accepted offer, or 2) too much money!

Any advice?
