Hi folks. Please help with advise. I have a portfolo of 3 mutual funds in a Traditional IRA and another Roth IRA with 3 similar funds. All are Agressive Growth funds, with a small amount in a balenced fund. I am 34, have about 3 years to go. Total assets is about 60K. I have a hands off advisor who is not watching my stuff. What are the best moves I should make? Out of mutual funds to SP500 Index funds, Overseas funds?, What about EFTs, or SPYdrs? Bonds vs Bond funds? What % weighting should it be if i move? Do I do this myself or get another advisor? Is the total value too small to have any choices? What about induvidual stocks? Comments please.

I just talked with my boss this morning. I was not getting paid that amount that we verbally agreed on (please, I know I should have gotten it in writing). I asked him a month ago, and he said I should be getting paid the amount that I expected. However, when I approached him again today, he said "No, thats not what we agreed on." Do you think he could fire me for asking this? I didn't want to make any waves, but what was I supposed to do in that situation?

The contract with my realtor expired, instead of extending the contract, I decided to try selling the home myself. A month later, I ran into a friend who I happened to know had looked at the house previously during an open house. He and his wife said they were still interested, and asked if I would consider a Land Contract.

After we came to an agreed upon selling price, I had another realtor draw up a land contract agreement for a $500 fee.

Now, the previous relator is suing me for her commision on the sale of the home because she initially showed the property to the party. The 60 day period as stated in my contract had not expired before I signed the Land Contract. Am I correct to assume that she should not receive a commision until closing since this is a land contract??? She wants the entire amount of the commission immediately.

Seems that millions are always either filing for bankruptcy or always in debt & most of the time it's b/c alot (not all) people are not financially responsible & expect a free ride with these credit cards. Then they act as if they are not suppose to pay the money back. I think if people are not going to be responsible then maybe it's time credit cards should be eliminated. The deadbeats are making it very hard for those who are responsible. What do you think?

Instead of calling my lawyer and asking...I will trust my fellow Yahoo users for an answer.
This lady looked at the house yesterday and loved it but asked if we were willing to "Rent with the option to buy". How does that usually work?
Is there a contract that says she has to buy or can she rent for a year or so then just leave without buying it? Say she does buy it...do the rent payments go towards the purchase price?

I just called to ask my credit card companies to lower my interest rate, and they said they can't do that until I get back into my limit. I am only 200 dollars over my limit on both, and my debt is under 2k total. This is nothing compared to most people, and this happened to me because of a family emergency. I am not irresponsible, and I want to pay this off without the interest rate being so high. Is this them bullying me, or does this make sense? I understand I am over my limit, but I am trying to make the right move here and pay it off! I have never had to do this before. I have always paid on time and been a good customer.

She would be selling it at a loss and is worried that the monies she receives from the sale will affect her income.

If someone told you a project you are working on is due 11/15, does that mean you have to finish it by 11/14? Or on the morning, afternoon of 11/15?

Thanks

I have about 4-5 credit cards, and 3 of them have just about exceeded their limit (which is about $2,000) . I was wondering if anyone knew if getting an AMEX card and just paying the balances off with that card and then just pay off the Amex. If you have any other suggestions- i would appreciate. I do not want to take out a loan.

I've recently been hired as a Credit Card Customer Service rep for people trying to reestablish their credit. Basically, we convince people to sign up for our credit card for a one-time processing fee which is $95. The credit card is only good for our products online/catolog. We tell customers this information but we've been told to speak very quickly during disclosure. Ok, once we've gotten them to agree, we get their bank info or have them send a money order. Once the customer finds out that they only use the credit card for our company, they want to cx their card.Sometimes we've been told to put the clients on "extended hold" which is like forever. Then we disconnect the call. If the customer is persistant about cancellation, we charge a 299 cancellation fee and it could take up to 10 business days for that to take place. I asked my manager wasn't this fraud. She told me no, as long as we have their permission, this is all legal. What do you think? I really need to work.

I am looking for a partime job (very partime only about 16 hours a week), I can only work 6pm-10pm about 4 nights a week. I would really love to work somewhere that gives a sweet store discount. I would prefer Not to work in Food, (unless it is natural/organic), and Not to work anywhere that I have to dress up nice, (makeup counter, or fancy dept). Im a work at home mom, and my wardrobe reflects that, so I dont want to defeat the purpose of the job by spending it all on my clothes.

Here is my tip to you. Watch what you are really spending at the grocery store by looking at the cost per use on the tag. It is little and will read like this 2.2 per ounce, use, pound etc.. It is supposed to be on every tag in the grocery store. This helps me know what I am really paying for the product without guessing from the look/size of the box.

ok so heres the deal. about 2 months ago my credit score was a 690 (experian) and there is not one thing on my credit report derogatory, past due, or negative. everything on my credit report is GREEN (which means everything is current and OK), i have never been in collections, or past due. I had bought a car back in september and my credit score suddenly shot down from 690 to a 580. The dealership sent my application to 10 different banks that then ran my credit 10 times. I know this is a factor, but still...my credit score should not have went all the way down to a 580. What can i do about this? i need to know because me and my fiance went to purchase a motorcycle and they declined (not denied for any specific reason) the application. Thats how i found out that my credit score was a 580. What can i do about this situation, and can i take legal action against the dealership? What could have been the reason that my credit score shot down dramatically?
