When I first moved into the property, there were slight cracks where the plaster board joined on the ceiling. I reported these cracks every rent inspection until my property manager sent someone to look at it (after 6 months of commenting on it) The contractor sent out to look at it said that something will need to be done to fix it before it came a major problem. Nothing was done. I continued to notify the property manager that the cracks where getting worse and paint had started to flake away. I was told that the owner had been notififed and that i was not to worry. 6 months the property is for sale, i mention to the saleswoman the ceiling in general conversation. She sends the same contractor out who then told me he had put an asap work order on the property 6 months ago and that it could have fallen in. Only when the saleswomen refused to sell it was it fixed. I was not compensated rent the time they worked on it. It was very messy and huge inconvience. Am i entitled to anything?

My aunt receives oil and gas royalities, and usually when the price of oil goes up, so do the amounts of her checks. But in the last 3 months, when oil has been the highest ever, she has received only one check from one company, and it was only $25. Why are her other checks not coming and why was that one so small?

I'm aware it's rare, even in the UK where I am, but it has requested in the job advert that my covering letter be hand written. My handwriting isn't perfect, and I would much rather type it, but there you go.

Should I use lined paper? Or draw 1cm lines on blank paper in pencil, then erase them?

if your manager said

'You are not children, you are all big enought to use your common sense etc'

would you take offence to that?

I was a member of Hollywood Tans while at college. Then I graduated and moved back home, but forgot to cancel my account at HT. I called and asked to cancel, but they refused to let me do this without going into the salon. Since I lived nowhere near there anymore, I couldn't do this. I thus got a new debit card from my bank, closing the old debit card.

Now I'm worried that this might hurt my credit score, if HT has decided to continue to charge my account. Or, can this not apply to me since the account was made with a *debit* card and it was the *debit* card that I closed. Please let me know if I should be worried about this! Thanks.

Is that true or false? I think it is false b/c it is to persuade readers to do something not change their minds or is that sort of the same thing

I actually recieved $141.10. Why did anyone bother to sue Lowes in the first place if they were going to accept a settlement? This payout is NOTHING to Lowes. Crime DOES pay, especially if you are a rich company.

Hi,

I am working at a builders and developers Co and though I am efficient and talented my higher authorities feel that I am incapable of working independently and I need to be supported by a Higher Authority. This is the 7th time that i have been told that I am smart but I need someones support to bring out my duties and I am not aware of the duties to be followed by an Office Adminiatrator due to lack of experience

What are the day to day duties to be performed by an office administrator, I mean what are the activities inculded esp. at an builders & developers Co and in a Software Co? And also what are the major roles to be observed... Please Guide ....

ever changed your phone #, only to inherit one from a debtor? therefore, did collectors keep calling you/leaving msgs for a "paul" or a "julie" (ppl who had my numbers before) who owes debt, and won't leave you alone or believe you when you tell them they're calling the wrong person? (fyi, i don't owe any debt and my credit is fine!)

if you finally got them to stop calling you, how did you do it?

i just changed #s, and this is the second time i keep getting bugged with msgs looking for someone else, this time with a different name. i am clueless, as i have failed with getting collectors to stop calling me, with my first #. i don't want to keep changing #s again because of this. i do have caller ID, but since i know their #s (they go by different #s, all with the same agency), seeing their #s is so annoying, i just can't ignore them!

please help. any feedback would be great. thanx! =)

I'm 22, I have two trust funds, one with 10K and one with 15K I have no savings accounts, one checking account, no credit cards, no debt and currently the only bill I have is a $50 monthly cell phone bill. I'm graduating college in May and will start working at a salary of 37K a year. Once I start working I will have roughly $500 in bills (rent, cell, car insurance). What I want to know is how much should I put away , how much should I spend on a monthly car payment, how much should I use to play around with for entertainment. Basicly, what should I do with my money? Also, should I do something different with my trust funds? One was setup when I was born and will be mine completely when I graduate, the other is an inhertance held in a trust for me recieve 50% at 25 and 50% at 30 but my father said he can arrange for me to get it earlier. Any Ideas?

ok my mom has a house under her name that she is renting to some family members..the rent is really high like over $4000 a month, not including bills, now the people there cant afford to pay it bc its so high and to make things worse, the property price lowered, so they lost money

so if my mom doesnt pay or the other people dont pay , the house is lost and her credit goes back to zero..is there anything she could do to keep it?
