I think the most shocking fact about credit is this:

Children spend at least two years in school learning algebra, geometry and/or calculus.........yet are not taught anything, ANYTHING, about credit, finances, and managing money.

It is no wonder people get into the financial trouble they do, when they are not taught the very basics of life.

I'd say the fact that a lot of people can't tell the difference between credit and money.

Usually those are people who spend whatever money they have and don't save anything.

Many companies such as Sears and Circuit City make more on credit card financing than they do on the sale of merchandise.

More purchases are made with credit than cash.

I am most shocked that people think they can get out of debt by borrowing money.
Read how many here say I need a loan to get out of debt, like that will work.
