late on a credit card payment. and does the fact that its 2:23am day after it was due make any difference?

My experience with late credit card charges generally go along the lines with payments posted after 5:00PM on the last day due get credited to the next day. So make sure you post your payment before 5:00PM. Different companies have different rules for late charges. Check with each different credit card company.

It's late, even if it's by a couple of minutes. If you want to avoid this in the future, don't wait until the last possible moment to make a payment.

payments are like being pg there is no such thing as being only a lttle bit late!!!
