wat do i do when i want to leave a job for another job but not sure i want to quit the current job?

hey guys ive been in my current job for 2 1/2 yrs know and its in a catering hall. i went for an interview in search for another job in the air port and i got the job i told my new boss that i can work full time and to put me any hours. i dont know wat i was thining i just wanted a shot to start a new job and to see if i likeit . i make decent money at my current job the only problem is that everyone is getting promotted but me ppl ive trained are getting promoted . at the airport job i can make up to $ 100 in tips a night but an hour i get paid only 4.50 as appose to the 9.50 that i get paid at my current job plus tips ( mabey 15 dollars a night ). i have three weeks to give in my 2 week notice and i dont know if its worht me leaving my current job to new job that relize on tips i dont know wat to do or say i want to tell my boss a good excuse so that he can put me on a leave of absence and i can come back with the same pay if i decide to so friends wat should i do please let me know

Some times you have to take chances you can't play both sides.

I agree, trying to hold on to both may cause you to lose both. Then you'll really be up a creek.
