I actually recieved $141.10. Why did anyone bother to sue Lowes in the first place if they were going to accept a settlement? This payout is NOTHING to Lowes. Crime DOES pay, especially if you are a rich company.

Well aren't we greedy!?! You didn't have to participate in the lawsuit you know. By participating in the class action lawsuit YOU also acknowledged the possibility of a settlement.
You have to remember that there were probably thousands of other employees (former and current) in the same suit and that had more unpaid overtime than you. There were lawyers that investigated each claim to see how much back-pay, if any, the claimants qualified for.
$141 is chump change, but realize how many other employees received this or more. So, depending on how many employees were actually qualified, those dollars can really add up.

I am right along with you. I just received my joke of a check for $187 for all the countless hours. You can thank those worthless lawyers in NY who should be Disbarred for saying they represented all those who were owed all the back pay for the chinese overtime. The lawyers are no better than Lowes, lying bunch of hypocrits. We got screwed not only by Lowes but by the actual lawyers who were supposed to represent the 22000+ people who filled Lowes pockets. I worked countless months as a plumbing specialist for those ungrateful bastards. Lowes forgot one thing though, they just pissed off 22000 people, imagine the internal damage that can be done by so many pissed off employees. Loyalty is a two way street, and Lowes just crossed the line, mark my words after this someone is bound to go postal in one of these lowes store. And last, just remember the name of the company, Lowes, because they find new lows to step down to.

Have no doubt the company paid out millions, as in any class action suit, or most other suits for that matter the only one's that make the money is the attorneys. That is why they file them, they get the majority of the proceeds, not the victims
