A guy buys something from me, he tells me that a Bankers Draft of £7500 will be forwards to me via his Bussines Accosociate, once I get the Bankers Draft and get it deposited into my bank account, if it clears my bank, I can deduct the cost of how much he consumes form my online shop.

Does it work in this way? Cuz I am not sure whether there is a way of 'Deduct' during the procedure. I have ever pay by Bankers Draft, but not recieve any payment by Bankers Draft.

Can any expert give me a advise, please?

Many thanks.

When you finance a purchase of an electronic item and then default on the payment 8 months later , does the finance company normally come over and repo the item even though it is virtually worthless?

My situation: I bought a projector and a digital camera costing 2500 dollars for my business in January 2007. It was a "kind of" secured loan , the agreement stated that the finance company would repossess the item if I default but no lien was registered against the equipment . Now I have stopped paying the monthly payments. The equipment is in good condition but it's resale value is only about 800 dollars. I know that hiring a bailiff probably costs a couple hundred dollars and the finance company doesn't know that the equipment is OK.

Do you think the finance company will actually repossess the item or should I try offering them a lowball figure in lieu of the items?

Anybody face this before?

My house has been on the market for about 3 weeks. First off, when he came by, he kinda made me feel like my house was crappy, and it aint. But the main thing that is bothering me is that I haven't heard anything. I guess nobody has contacted him that they want to see my house, but still, should I at least receive a call from him just to let me know he's trying? He has not made any calls whatsoever. I was just wondering if this was normal or not. By the way, he's been in the business for over 30 years. Is there a specific website to check on complaints of realtors in Texas.

With the sales of digital TVs increasing next year and in 2009, what would a good investment be? A retailer like Amazon, Best Buy, or Costco? A manufacturer like Sony or Hitachi? Or a software company that dabbles in the TV space, like Apple?

I would cash it at my own bank, but they require you to deposit it if it's over $300, and lets just say it's over $300.

I'll start right off saying when I started working for my grandfather, it was "under the table". Now he's handicapped, stays at home, I take care of the business and even have my name on some things like the bank account and such. But I'm still in the same situation as when I started. I don't want to get into any trouble. I just want to set it up so I pay what I need to pay in income taxes to keep the government off of me. What do I do?

My friend is moving into her new house at the end of the month and her roommate is having a hard time finding somewhere else to live. My friend just found out that this roommate has terrible credit. She used to be involved with drugs and meth and is $50,000 in debt because of that, not to mention new credit problems. She also has an eviction that went to court, a suspended drivers license and a warrant out for her arrest. This is all news to my friend, who met her shortly after this woman got clean. She does have a steady job and makes decent money. She is getting turned down for apartments left and right, understandably so. Are there any resources out there for someone like her? She certainly made some terrible choices but now needs a place to live. She has to be out by the end of the month. What can she do? Thanks for any help!

My situation is a unique one, but I need help fast. I need anybody's advise on how to find someone willing to give a private loan to help me with attorney's fees. My daughter was taken from me by her father simply because he has more money than I do and because he took advantage and lied to the court. I have all court documents to back up what I say and ask nobody to trust my word. I spoke with my attorney this morning and he has said that to begin litigation and get her back quickly he'll need $10,000 with $5000 upfront before he begins. My daughter has lived with me her entire life (she's 6 now) until her father stole her. I did no wrong doing. I know how that sounds, just like there are no guilty people in jail, but I really didn't. The only thing I did was trust the court system. Please help! I need money fast to get her back. She needs to come home. Please email me if you have any questions. Thank you!
