I've been in default default on several loans (some student loans) for a long time. Naturally I have assumed terrible credit, and have always been denied for credit. I went recently to try to get stuff in order, but when I got my reports, they all reported NO credit. Should I expect that these loans have been discharged? Or is there another way to track down 'lost' credit. I don't want to get surprised by it popping back up at me while I'm trying to 're-establish' my credit. Any clues?

It was an overuse work injury, and I'm afraid that no one will want to hire me now. I also have some physical limitations that will prevent me from being able to return to my former field of work.

Are there any online or other resources for finding out what type of work is available with my physical limitations?

If I find a job I think I could do, how should I go about seeking a job description to find out if it's something I'm capable of doing?

Also, how should I explain my abscence from the work force in my resume, on applications, and if an interviewer asks about it?

Another question: I need a job & money NOW - if I just take whatever I can find at even minimum wage, and then somehow manage to find something else that pays better in a short period of time, will leaving for the better pay (with notice, of course) reflect badly on me, or damage my future career prospects?

Serious answers are greatly appreciated, thank you.

Is anybody aware of at home jobs that are not scams? Meaning, I don't have to put _x_ amount of cash in to get thousands out? I am currently working as an independent sales rep for Avon, but it simply doesn't bring in enough cash for me. I am considering Melaleuca, but it seems too difficult to work with considering you have to make a purchase each month--regardless if you have money to do so! Any tips, tricks, ideas?

I'm at a very confusing time in my life as far as careers go. Everyone keeps telling me it will fall into place in time, but will it really? I really want to go back to school, but I'm clueless as to what I should do. Considering my husband and I want a very big family, something in the education field is ideal, so I can be at home with the kids in the evenings and summer, and won't have to pump half our income into daycare. However, I don't know if teaching is right for me. What other options do I have in the education field? Or what other jobs would be ideal? Please help!

I've got a guy at work that is constantly talking bad about me to other people. These people then come to me an let me know what he is saying. First of all this is a huge manufacturing company. We have worked together in the past. He accused me of punching him "which is not true at all" in which led to my demotion and moved to another plant in the company. He then got another job in the same plant that I was moved to. Now usually in the older days Id beat him silly. Oh and believe me, I want to now and have thought of catching him outside of work many times, but I am more concerned about being grown up and keeping my job as I am 32 years old. If I go to the higher ups then I'm some kind of snitch. If I beat his *** then I'm a bully and a loser. If I let it go, I will eventually go nutts. What should I do do resolve this situation immediately without all of the drama? Thanks for any help here.
