I'm thinking to buy a new single family house in mountain house as an investment property. The builder is giving out huge incentive and the price is much cheaper than the houses in SF bay. Just wondering if it'll be right timing to do this especially mountain house is a brand new town. Will I be able to rent it out? Thanks!!

Can people who is familiar with the area mountain house, ca or who live near the area (like Tracy, Livermore, etc.) answer this question for me?

The mortgage on property I owned was not being paid, therefore the insurance (escrow) was not being paid. There was damage to the property; the mortgage company filed a claim, and collected. How with no police report, no statement from me, etc. The purchase insurance one week and filed a claim the next week.

Ok, I'm going to explain this as simple as I can. About 1 year ago my husband had to pay off a debt that his ex wife made after the divorce. The debt came back onto his property, and he had to pay it to clear the property. Now the debt was not his in any way, his name was not asscoiated with this in any way shape or form.
He was wondering, can he claim this $17,000 as a loss to him? He has documentation showing that he had paid the debt, lawyer fees and everything. Can anyone shine some light on this?

I'm 30. I have a BA degree in liberal arts (psychology minor). I took classes in education, psychology, Spanish and etc. I've only worked as a secretary, file clerk and receptionist in a couple law offices. Law really bores me. I have no desire to become a lawyer or paralegal. For the past 10 years I've volunteered off and on in schools, churches and other organizations teaching children, serving food to homeless people, and etc etc. I enjoy working with nonprofits helping people. I want to go back to school and do something more in psychology/sociology/ social field than say legal field. Before I go back to school I would like to have some idea what field/job I want to pursue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to decide? Do I volunteer at different places? Read books? Go talk to career services at my former college? How did you choose a career?

He's passing my resume on to the director of an international business so he said I should include my travels and experiences (examples- Toured SE Asian on my own, Climbed Mt. Fuji, Climbed the Great Wall, Traveled around numerous countries in Europe and lived in Italy)
I never thought of including this sort of information in a resume. What's the best way to do it? Include a section called "travel" with bullets on my expereinces? (my resume already has education, work experience, and skills sections with bullets).
Does it makes sense to list places I've been to? Does that sound boastful? Any light you could shed would be appreciated, I don't want to do this in an inappropriate way.

I've been in the IT field for the better part of the last 10 years, and I'm ready for something else. But, my degrees are non-related. I'm ready for something new, but I don't want to go back to school - mostly for financial reasons. Please help me come up with some options. Thanks!

I have been telling the auditors that the report is due on the 31st January and they are still doing audit testing today. There is no way the report is going to be ready by next Tuesday.

If I complain to them and the rest of the group it looks like I have something to hide. If I dont I look like a poor manager.

Any suggestions?
