i sold a gift card to this guy online and he is sending me a echeck. when the money clears i was going to send him the code and the pin for the card. now can he dispute the sending and say that i never sent it? cuz i will give him the info but i do not want to be scammed

send the gift card by certified mail, with a return receipt requested, addressee only - it costs a bit more but you will have the signature of the person who accepts delivery and that will eliminate and possibility of a dispute.

Never send anything until the eCheck clears.

Well if its a gift card and he says that he never got the numbers, and is lying then you could send it again and again but if he already used it he wouldnt be able to use those same numbers again anyways so he'd have no reason to lie about it.

Yes, he can do that. So you should send the information to him by US mail with proof of delivery, and then he cannot scam you.

yeah.... but he probablly wont and if he does, it wont mean anything. That would mean that people could always be like "I never got my merch in the mail". Its the same thing.

i would just make sure that you save whatever you can. like the emails or anything to prove that you sent it just incase
