Ok so after a massive argument with my mother (unreconcilable - I've practically disowned her) I've decided I need to move out A.S.A.P.
I don't want to have to quit college though and I know a part time job wont cover rent.
Is there any way around this? Do you recomend house sharring with friends? will landlords let a bunch of 18 year olds rent a house? I'm not sure they will to be honest.
HELP!

my interview coach said I should say that I've been looking since then but I don't want to lie and it would also appear that I haven't found a job in 5 months if I did this. I appreciate your response. I could use some wording that sound precise and professional without saying (" I was playing Mom for 5 months") Thanks to all!

I work in Minnesota. And since November my employer has been messing around with the way he pays me because he was audited by the state for not paying me properly. Because of that he gave me a raise and benifits during a meeting with him (at that time he gave me a good review). After that I worked harder and did all my job. But suddenly, without warning he moved me to part time and took away all my benifits, the odd thing is that he never gave a warning but said he did it because of a bad market. Now im stuck in a financial nightmare. Is it legal for him to do that???

My boss is a monster, he is degrading and very demanding, I go home at night feeling worthless. He doesn't pay me overtime, I have no benefits and if I take time off it is without pay. I just want to quit. Do I really have to give him two weeks notice?

I am new to this, so when I was filing for my returns on turbotax, I noticed that when I was done filing for my federal returns, that sum of money went significantly smaller when I started my state returns. Does this mean that I am getting that amount back or am I getting 2 separate refunds, a state and federal? (Please, no smart a$$ comments, I just need someone nice to help me)
