Hi all hope you can help.

I declared myself bankrupt last year. My ex left me with a load of debt but infortunatley it was in my name. He stopped paying for it which consequently made a lot of trouble for me.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, im getting back on the straight and narrow. Ive now been made a permanent full time employee, earning good money with a pay rise on the way and ive seen the flat of my dreams!
I have put down a holding deposit on it whilst all the normal rental checks/paperwork are complete.
I have given them a character reference and also an employers reference as I can not provide six months pay slips. I also have a guarantor for this reason.
My guarantor has provided all the necassary documents required.
I completed my tenants application form and i noticed in the small print it said that I was authorising the estate agent to do a credit check. I have not mentioned that I am a bankrupt though.
Can I still rent or will i be refused?

I just recieved a letter today from the national awards advisory center , and it told me that I'm a guaranteed winner of 1,900,000.00 in cash and awards. But that i needed to send a 19.99 check before 1/28/07. I sent it out immediatley because of the deadline, It also said once its recieved the entire amount as reported will be dispatched to you upon reciept of your signed. and that Prize payments schedueled but keeps saying win-opportunity sponsor guaranteed for payment to selected winner. But yet everywhere it keeps saying that I'm the guaranteed winner. I don't know if I just sent this check out and it was a fraud! What should I do? Has anyone ever heard of them?

What do I do, if anything: my eye doctor's computers were stolen and all of his customer information was on them. This included my social secutirty number (or my mom and deceased father's at least), health insurance, name, address, phone, but NOT any credit card numbers (thank God). Help!

I got a pre-approved offer from Juniper for a card with a credit line UP TO $10,000. Has anyone applied and can tell me if you got $10K line? It says on the back that the minimum could be $250 and I don't want to apply if that's all I'm going to get.

I already have several credit cards, one with $15K limit but I want to consolidate the smaller cards to this one due to its 0% APR intro & 11% after that.

I have a friend that lives in Georgia. He got fired for "inappropriate internet usage." He was on a break and decided to check his email and update is queue on Netflix. That was it. No porn sites or anything like that. There is no place in his employer's handbook that said they could not use the internet during breaks. Was he treated fairly? Should he do something about it?
Thanks for your help!

Just like you would with a house; rent it out whil paying mortgage on it, but with a condo. Is this allowed? Is there anything that would stop me from doing this? Thanks!
