$4838 is less than the standard deduction for Federal income taxes. Therefore you should get the full $225 as a refund. State taxes vary by state, but it is likely you will receive most if not all of the $123.98 back as well.

Assuming that you don't have any kids, you will get the $225 back in Federal.

You will probably get back the $124 in state but I can't say without knowing what state you are in.

You don't get back Social Security or Medicare and because your income is so low, the tuition won't help you.

You won't get any of the medicare $$ back and unless you paid your own tuition, that won't matter either.
