"A book about the worst years, to commemorate the best."

It's the cheesy line I'm writing in my boyfriend's anniversary present: a book about the Civil War. I've already written 'A book about the worst years' in pen, meaning that suggested changes are both unwelcome and impossible to execute.

i am 18(i have never had a bf...) i am a really quiet person. many guys have told me that i am really pretty... but than why do u think no guy has told me anything? i mean it's odd b/c older guys like 20+ have invited me to go out but why is it that the guys my age don't. Seriously guys, do u get intimidated by a quiet girl? what can i do... i need someone!!!

My 5 year old, Olivia just started Kindergarten this year.
Yesterday, a little girl in second grade told her she was FAT!!
Olivia is 3' 7". She BARELY weighs in at 40 pounds.
Last night Olivia told me she needed to be on a diet.
A DIET!! How do I go about addressing this situation?

Also, my kids are vegetarian by CHOICE.
And i RARELY let them have candy or other sugary foods..
Why would that 2nd grader tell my kindergartener that??

why do women in this forum make it seem like even *wanting* a bridal shower is a really bad thing? almost every bride wants a shower...

my sister is my maid of honor and she has no clue what to do, she's only 21 and has never even been to a wedding before. so she asked me what her duties are and I told her what they are including the hosting the shower. so she hosted it and was totally happy to do so. i was a little more involved in the planning of my own shower than is "normal" by ettiquette standards, she didn't know my bridesmaids and felt stupid not knowing anything about weddings, so she asked me EVERYTHING.

i think if someone is your maid of honor and you can't say to them "i want a bridal shower" then maybe they shouldn't be your maid of honor...

I just found out that I am 4 1/2 weeks pregnant due july 23rd, I have "night" sickness, and really really bad mood swings, which is putting a strain on things...Is there anything I can do to change this. I met this guy out of town, we had a great connection, talked for awhile....then we kissed. I really liked him alot. Later his friend told me that he was married. I was furious and I wanted revenge, but did not have the slightest idea of how to get in touch with his wife. So I decided to keep talking to him, I listened when he told me how horrible his marriage was and I tried to give him advice, I did not mess around with him anymore but I talked to him on the phone alot. Just as I suspected, his wife found the phone bill and is pissed at him. Now I feel guilty. I have been cheated on in the past and the fact that he tried to play me and make a cheater out of me really pissed me off, so I figured that his infidelity should be made a little more obvious. Once he was caught I stopped speaking to him. I felt so badly about kissing him, and I thought that if he was not caught with me he would just do it again....

I am just coming back from Europe where I had to attend a meeting. Many of us are holding diplomat passports and immunity is granted. I was very surprised to hear the following:

My Palestinian colleague, living in Jerusalem, working in Ramallah holding a diplomat passport and having citizenship of an European country is not allowed to enter Israel via Tel Aviv Airport. How is this possible? He got jailed and deported to Jordan from where he is allowed to enter Israel. When I heard this first, I thought he is joking, but............Even his European Embassy was helpless.
Which law does not allow an European Diplomat to enter the Airport of Tel Aviv just because of his Palestinian ancestry?
He also told me that he is not allowed to drive a car with Israeli license plaids. He lives in Israel!

Are Diplomats not granted immunity just because they are Palestinians? The same happened to an Palistinian holding an American Dipolmat passport.

Can somebody please explain?

i got a call from my vet this morning saying my 14 yr old female has oral squamous cell carcinoma......can anyone tell me the causes of this cancer? how long she has? and what can i do to help her feel more comfortable....?

shes still eating right now and i know this thing isnt curable or even really worth trying to kill....just making it harder for my baby..
