My boyfriend doesn't have a college degree and he makes $68,000 a year, however it took 13 1/2 years to get there. I am have a college degree and I make $3,000 less and it took me 2 years to get there.

I think the best thing to do is go to college and get a degree in a field of your interest... you have a better chance getting that job you want.

Well let's see. For comparison I have PhD's in electrical engineering and applied physics. I retired from Rockwell International 20 years ago at age 45. At that time my annual salary was $65,000/year. I'd say that my college degrees had a little something to do with that.

I do not know where you live or what field you plan to study in but you should be able to make $30,000. Hopefully a lot more with a degree.

You should be making that with a high school diploma. A degree will help but it's not written in stone. If you want to make money pick your major wisely. Good luck.

Yes, although you can make that much without it, it'll be far easier to get a job with a college degree that pays more than that.

Yes it will help and depending on what you study and where you live, you can make potentially more than that. True you don't need one, but it does open up many more opportunities.
