Look like Aussie. There's a new DNA test that can help determine the breed and ancestry. I'm having this done on one of my mutts right now! Check it out...

This is a purebred Aussie without a docked tail. She has a great head and expression showing quality and intelligence. She should be a wonderful dog. Contrary to a previous answer, most Aussies need to have their tails docked as newborns. Nautral Bob-tails are not as common as supposed. And she is a Red Merle--not a blue merle or Red Tri as others stated. Merles can come in a range of color contrast light to dark--large spots, small spots, dramatic splotching, subtle contrast and with or without copper and/or white markings. Aussies also can have almost any color eye and often eys are two toned. Google Australian Shepherd to see lots of pictures of others. There are lots of resources on the 'net. The Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) has lots of info. & links. Enjoy your wonderful puppy!

Looks like an Aussie straight up, to me. Some aussies are born with tails, although the norm is without-I have not heard of Aussies getting their tails docked.
She's a beauty!

That definitely looks like an aussie without it's tail docked. I think she is a purebred. Beautiful little red merle girl. Some of my pups have half blue, half amber. I have one with blue eyes.

She's a Red-Tri Aussie without a docked tail (Not splotchy enough to be a Red Merle...). Adorable! Love the eyes!
