I am not a religious person myself. but i fail to understan how any child can make the decision of what religion they want to be before they can talk. unfortunately the main religions all impose it upon a child of parents of that religion. why is it fair to deny them the right to decide.
the baptist church has it much more correct.
I thank God that i wasnt christened as a child ( pun definitely intended)

Cholesterol: 4.53 (normal:3.9-6.18)
Triglycerides: 1.16 (normal: 0.45-1.86)
HDL: .90 (M: 1.04-1.3)
LDL: 3.10 (0-4.0)

Guys, I'm worried about the traces of albumin in urine (yeah, I do love to eat meat) and my HDL (it's low. what do you mean by that?). What can you I do to make me normalize the results next time? Like I said, my next appointment is still next week. I'm still 17. years old. Thank you all!

My boyfriend and I have recently had a baby, and we are saving up money so we moved in with his parents, well.. I loved his mom until the baby arrived, i found a TOTALLY new side of her ive never seen before! My boyfriend has a sister and his mom is OBSESSED with our baby wearing HER old outfits. i bought my baby a costume for halloween, and his mom put my baby in his sisters costume from when she was a baby. i brushed it off, but then for christmas i bought my daughter a christmas dress and a babys first christmas bib, and once again his mom pulls out his sisters dress and bib, am i being selfish? i feel like this is MY baby, not his sisters, and she should be wearing my old stuff! pllzzzzzzzz help!

Is it a crime to think good for someone? My 10 yr old sis always does stupid things. I try to talk her out of it, try to make her understand that what she's doing ain't right. But she's least interested.

So what she does is (maybe unintentionally) gets me and my parents to have a tiff coz my parents always support her, no matter how wrong she might be and I always try to correct her. I know maybe she hates me for trying to correct me.

I used to same the stupid things when I was small and now, when I've grown up, I realise how fcukin stupid I was to ignore all that my parents used to say to correct me. I can't go back in time and rectify those mistakes. So my intent is that my sis doesn't repent whatever she does today later on.

But I always end up on the losing side. Today, I feel I've had enough. Let her do what she wants to its her life. Let her screw it up if she wants to. What can I do if she's just not read to listen !

Please Please, I must state first that this is not an attempt to bash individual Catholics, but rather pose some critical questions that need to be considered.

Is "The Church" founded on solid precepts? I'd have to say no. Let’s start with Peter. Let’s say Peter is the Head of the Church and was in Rome. What Biblical evidence is there that Peter left the Authority of the Church in Rome? Peter was a devout Jew, knew that "Salvation is to the Jew First", and that ALL Promises to the Nation of Israel Would be Fulfilled, so why would he give the Authority of the Church over to Gentiles? Not saying that Peter did not accept Gentiles. I know he did, but he knew the prominence of the Nation of Israel. Has there ever been a Jewish Pope?

Is it not true that John was the last of Jesus' Apostles to die? If this is the case, certainly the Authority of the Church would have been passed to him after Peter's death. There is NO Biblical Support that John gave authority to Rome...

What do you think about the Yahoo news report that according to the University of California research, legalizing same sex marriage in Maryland would result in $3.2 million dollars GAIN to the state's budget and significantly boost the state's economy.

I recently bought a HP TX1320 with AMD 64 2.2GHz
2GB RAM, 250GB sata HDD and Vista OS. It boots much slower than the one bought
last year which is ASUS W5F with Core 2 duo 1.66GHz
1.5GBRAM,100GB IDE HDD and Vista OS
Please tell me why ...CPU matters?.Because AMD has a much smaller cashe than core 2 duo ..or mother board matters? the HP has a better HDD(SATA), faster CPU...larger memory but small cashe memory ...AMD's is 1MB and core 2 duo has 2 MB

Hi everyone
Well here is the thing,

whenever I turn the tap water on at a little water flow, the water flow degrades slowly by time, after about 1-2 minutes it is dripping and about another 1-2 minutes after it stops completely. (sometimes it takes even less than a minute)

This happens at the taps of both my baths (there are two baths) and at both cold and warm water.

WHY is this happening?


ps.Also I am at the first floor of the building, the taps are working great in other aspects, the cold water comes directly from the water network and the warm water comes from the "water warmer" tank. And there is not any other water flow in the house at the time this happens.

ps2. It is not annoying, neither a problem, there is no reason for me to change this but I am just curious WHY MECHANICALLY is it happening.
