After reading a lot of questions and answers about religion, I am noticing that people get fired up and angry when others oppose their beliefs.

You might consider this a stupid question but seriously, why do some people have to be racist? What is the benefit of being racist?

It doesn't do any good but it just causes problems. Do you think that people who are extremely racist have never been faced with racism, meaning that they don't know how it feels like, so they go overboard sometimes with their insults and comments.

My 15 year old picked up her cat, and when it meowed the dog came sprinting down the hall. So my daughter started jogging so she could beat the dog to the stairs. The dog went running across the stair opening right as my daughter ran across to the stairs and her knees hit the dog by her rib cage, and the dog fell over one step into our living room and may have hit the chair and a table. She got up wimpering and she whined for almost five minutes before she stopped. When I had her get up to walk, she was fine, but I'm afraid I might be missing something. Please help me, I need to know if she may have hurt something internally

My question is lets say right now I do have diabetes but I do not know because I havnt been checked...so if I have diabetes right now and basically do nothing about it because I do not know I have diabetes. What will evenutally happen? Will I like wake up tommorrow in pain and go to the hospital? Will I like have a seizure? Or what will happen to me so then for exmaple I get a stroke and I go to the hospital they do blood work then find out...so what acutally happens to someone who has diabetes and doesn't know? Someone told me this which I think is true because I am always scared thinking I have diabetes and other stuff he said "If you had diabetes which you thought you had for almost 3 months you would know you had diabetes something would have been happened."

I picked you up at 8pm sharp. We ate pizza and caught a movie. On our way home, vampire-ninjas attacked the car and stole the road map and your Queen's Greatest Hits CD. Our car spun off into a ditch, uncovering the angry reanimated corpse of Jimmy Hoffa, who chased us through a junior high production of "Godspell". After the cast party, we all agreed that that their previous production of "Flowers for Algernon" was MUCH more intriguing, but Hoffa's corpse said that out loud which angered the drama club, and we were forced (again) to flee for our lives.

Seeking refuge in an all-night grocery, I bought us coffee and two donuts. But you inhaled the powdered sugar as you tried to bite yours, and the reaction forced you to sneeze, cough, and gasp simultaneously. Your head ricocheted through the plate glass storefront, and bounced off the hood of an idling police car.

So now your parents are here, wondering why you spend time with me, let alone where your damned head is. What to say?

I hate him soooooooo much !!! My parents got divorced less then a year ago and my Mom already has a boyfriend...they've been together for 3 or 4 months and my Mom acts like he's the only thing in her world ! She totally forgot about me(15) and my brother(13), she never talks to me anymore, we never do anything as a family, and their always having sex...Ewwwwww...and I hate him he is such a jerk and he's always looking at me and my friends like a pervert !!! I heard them talking about moving in together last night and I don't know what to do since my Dad lives really far away and travels alot :(


How can I get rid of him ?

Ok, this is a remake of an abortion question from a little while ago. This time about something else.

Ok, there is a burning building or its about to collapse or whatever. On one side of the building is your child (lets say you only have one or only one of your children are in the building). On the other side, there is a room with 3 children from stranger's families. You only have time to rescue one (lets say no one but you is at the scene).

Do you save your one child or save 3 childen from strangers?


Me: I would not even hesitate or feel guilty about it, my kids first, absolutely.

I have a 5 day old lil girl and I got a sleep positioner and have been using it since I got home from the hospital but I just read online they are not safe. I thought they helped prevent sids but apparently they don't. Do you moms use these? Has anyone ever heard of them not being safe?? ?Thanks for the advice. I'm a first time mom and nervous...

I work at the Humane Society in my town, and we have 4 major events to raise funds aside from doing the mail appeals. Two of the four events are much more profitable, and A LOT more work of course.
If you have idea's that you believe would make a excellent fundraiser. PLEASE share them. I am looking to "step-up" the current rut we are in and bring more people together and raise some money to expand our shelter.

On some of my windows, I get little black lines(dashes) in them. When I scroll up or down they either go away, or new ones replace the older ones. If the window is colored dark, they show up as white lines(dashes). I just upgraded my video card. Is there something I can do? Has anyone ever experienced this? I have an Nvidia card, and a dell 20 in. monitor using the dvi cable.
