David and Solomon both had hundreds of wives and concubines even though the basics for monogamous marriage was already defined.
By todays' rational God would have blown them out of the throne immediately but strangely he didn't seem to care.
This is because we are judged when we judge the moment we judge.
The only way to not judge is to become love. In that day you will know that you are part of God because you will be Christ because Christ will live within you making you ONE.

Sin is what you are not what you do.
Breaking the laws is a symptom not the cause.
You are not a creature of love is the cause.
Love is the cure.

People have argued for sexual promiscuity by citing biblical examples of Abraham having children by his concubines, David fornicating with Bathsheba, and Solomon having a large harem of wives.

What these people don't understand is that these accounts give a true history of God's people, who occasionally lapse into sin. Jesus corrected such error: "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate" (Matt 19-4-6).

A man and woman united as one flesh form a single organism. They cannot divorce without destroying their common life. Consequently, those who practice promiscuity limit or eliminate their potential for faithful marriage by treating sexuality as mere recreation, in rebellion against
God's plan for intimacy and happiness.

There are no verses in the Bible that either promote or do not condemn promiscuity.

ALL of the verses relating to sex tell us that it is not permitted outside the bonds of marriage.

EVERY verse in the Bible that does not specifically and implicitly condemn promiscuity would ... by default "at least not condemn it." For example: "Thou shalt not kill" says NOTHING about promiscuity! Doesn't that rise to the standard of the latter part of your question? If that makes you happy then I would dare say that 80 percent of the Bible or more at least does not condemn promiscuity.

I know of no verses that state such. Since it is a sin then there is no way that God(who in my belief is the Bible), would ever condone it. Thanks for the question, and have a great day!

Soloman had hundreds of concubines, and these were said to be a gift from god. If that isn't a direct promotion of promiscuity, what is?

I really don't like it when people ask questions and only want one specific answer. Good luck getting the exact answer your looking for.
