I work at the Humane Society in my town, and we have 4 major events to raise funds aside from doing the mail appeals. Two of the four events are much more profitable, and A LOT more work of course.
If you have idea's that you believe would make a excellent fundraiser. PLEASE share them. I am looking to "step-up" the current rut we are in and bring more people together and raise some money to expand our shelter.

I live in illinois if that helps and minimum wage is 7.50 per hour, I would prefer to hear from someone who lives in illinois but i will take any information.

I'm a 14 year old white female. I've been through... a lot, I was born in the inner city area of Baltimore, and brought up in Glen Burnie Maryland. So far, I've done poorly. My GPA is 1.25 but I hope to bring it up to 3.5-3.8 before my High School career is over. I'm going to be a Sophmore on Tuesday. I hope to try out for spring sports, also. I work out twice a day and I'm currently trying to apply as an intern at the gym to raise money and pay my own share of the bills. I've 'been around the block' this includes drugs, abuse, rape, and much more. I've stayed away from gangs, and that's about it.

I have big plans for my next three years in High School, this means, get my GPA up, meet the Senator, enrol in Civil Air Patrol, join sports, get a job, and do some more volunteer work. Maybe if I'm able to fix things and bury my past a little bit, can I make it into the Air Force Academy and be a fighter pilot? What are your suggestions? I'll do everything possible, even change my name.

im concerned i may be pregnant but im not sure, i doubt it. anyways we've got one young baby and i was just wondering - is it possible to live supporting 2 children on an income of $40000 to $50000 per yr? well i guess thats before taxes. so closer to $32000-$41000 after taxes? ive tried to get my husband to go to school to get a different job but hes comfortable where he is and has a hard time coming out of his comfort zone. before being on maternity leave with this child, i worked full time as well. i want to be in a position where i dont have to say ok we CANT afford to have anymore kids and i was just nwondering if this is enough income to support the (potential) 4 of us? if not, whats a more comfortable income?

I can never remember anything, I can never remember what I did yestarday, I don't remember what I did last week, or even last year. I remember certain events, things that have had an impact on my life, other than that..Nothing. I can't even remember what I had for dinner last night.
I'm 20 years old, I feel like i'm 60...I feel like i'm crazy.
I'm always losing things, sometimes even big things. I have to search my keys before I go anywhere, I had a certain spot, specifically for my keys, but I forgot where the spot was...

Why can't I remember anything?
Is there something wrong with me?

If there was something wrong with the clay, shouldn't he have checked first to make sure he was using quality material?

If there was something wrong with the integrity of the structure, shouldn't he have caught that before he was done?

And if not, then I'm sure we can all agree that he's an inept or at least an imperfect craftsman, yes?

my mother got injured at work and when they were sopose to put her on light duty they didn;'t and she got reinjured worse and than was out of work for months due to this even though she had a doctors note they still fired her. She appealed it and losed. She worker for the government sio it's a lost case. She can't seem to find a job. I'm sure her age is something to do with it she's 50 with 15 years of nursing Assisant experience but not certified. She can't do that type of eork anymore because of the demand and is unable to do that kind of work because of what iis expected and her back is now not strong enough for it. But all interviewers believe that she is going to go back to nursing and will soon quit any job they give her. She lost her house and now she lives with me and my boyfriend and has o income her uneployment ran out and her car insurence will soon be canceled. I can't support her for ever. I love her but would like her to get back on her feet. Any suggestions?
