The first day of the week is Sunday. Saturday is the Sabbath. For many Christians, Sunday is mislabeled as the Sabbath. One of the earlier Popes moved the day of rest from Saturday to Sunday and called it "The Lord's Day". This was done when it was finally realized that Jews were not going to convert in droves and therefore differences between Christianity and Judaism were to be emphasized and not minimized.

It depends on your perspective.
For Judeo-Christians Monday is the 1st Day and Sunday is the 7th.
For Many businesses Sunday is the first day of the Week.

I say Monday, but only because I was bred, born & raised good ole southern baptist. Sunday is the sabbath, or 7th day on which God rested. Most business calendars, schedules etc are planned on a Monday thru Sunday schedule also with Monday being the first day.

Cuz when you look at the calendar what Day is first???

But if you are like in high school or middle school some people consider that Monday starts off the week.

i would say sunday, but when school starts, i normally think of monday as the first day of the week, but i'm pretty sure it's monday.
