international date line?

I need a picture of the international date line.I need to tell my son how to draw it on an orange for school. just a picture of it would help and not any thing that only shows one side of the world.

The International Date Line is not an object, so the only way it can be depicted is as an artificial line drawn on a map or a globe.

May I suggest that he first draws a simplified, approximate map of all the major continents on the orange with a permanent marker. He should try to make the proportions as accurate as possible. Remember, the dateline is on the Pacific Ocean and that body of water covers almost half of the globe.

Then, he can carefully draw the Date Line in another color.
