the lawnmowers come out at night and run over little kids (when I asked to play outside after dark). There is a bad monster hiding in the popcicle truck (when I asked for a popcicle). Monsters come out at night from under the bed (when I asked if could get back up to watch TV with them). They were cruel to me!

Living in California as a five year old..
