leave an abusive marriage to follow your heart and join your Kindred Spirit? Or would you stay because of a piece of paper that says, "til death do us part"?

I asked a question recently about the juror who was "allegedly" (I use the word advisedly as I was NOT present there at the time of incident...) listening to her mp3 under her hijab.. and wondered if our judges are "extra mindful" of not upsetting any religious groups...

Today, I am asking the same question... only re the judge deciding that it's ok for ALL farmers whose cattle have a negative tb test to be put down... EXCEPT THIS ANIMAL.. on the grounds of QUOTE "But a judge ruled it would infringe the community's rights under Article Nine of the European Convention on Human Rights covering freedom of religion. "

Whilst I accept other faiths and thier cultures, nevertheless, farmers in West WALES and other parts of UK and Ireland have lost valuable livestock over the YEARS from not only a negative tb test, but QUESTIONABLE tb negative tests also..

There is a reason for this test.. but not for this particular bullock..?

Isn't that a rather crude way of getting rid of undesirables?

Why not just turn all the bad guys into pillars of salt, like he did to Lot's wife for the terrible crime of looking over her shoulder?

Instead, Noah's got to build a dirty great big boat, with only enough room for two of everything, allowing the rest of the animals to get wiped out along with the people.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just smite the baddies?

Dosn't it make God look somewhat inefficient?

This isn't another way to promote my siging, AT ALL - I'm generally too shy to have my voice heard anyway - but another question I've answered gave me an idea...

Astrology says that the ruler of the voice and mind, is mercury. So technically, you should be able to guess someone's mercury sign by hearing them talk or sing. Also, there's a lot more to it (which house is mercury in? What planets does it aspect?)

So I just want to know, by listening to my singing voice, whether you can figure out my mercury sign ---- or even harder; my sun sign?

Here it is...

I have known various people to claim that Adam and Eve were the first people on this earth, but the Bible says otherwise...

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them...

(and it continues on to vs.31)..
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day..

(then later on) in Gen 2:2-3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made..

Now here is the kicker!
In Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God later names him "Adam" in Gen 2:19.

This shows that there was man created on the 6th day, then God rested on the 7th, then created Adam after the rest.

I am not trying to get into a heated debate, I just want to get some feedback

Concerned about her relationship, a woman aproaches her doctor and says, Doc, I'm getting married this weekend and my fiance thinks I'm a virgin & I'm not Is there anything you can do to help me? The doctor says, Medicaly, no, but here's something you can try. On the wedding night, when you're getting ready for bed, take an elastic band and slide it to your upper thigh. When your husband puts it in, snap the elastic band and tell him it's your virginity snaping.
The woman loves this idea and knows her hubby will fall for this. They have a beautiful wedding and retire to the honeymoon suite. The wife gets ready for bed in the bathroom, slips the elastic band up her leg, finishes preparing and climbs into bed with her man.
Things begin to progres - her hubby slips it in and just then she snaps the elastic band. The hubby shouts, "What the hell was that? The wife explains, Oh nothing honey, that was just my virginity snapping. The husband cries out, Well snap it again its got my balls!
