my cat had kittens on monday 9th july 2oo7 onof the kittens opened there eyes on friday 13 july 2oo7 is this normal for them to open their eyes so soon

well, 4 days is pretty quick, but they all go at their own rate. sometimes it take 10-14 days. If it takes longer than that, they could have an infection. but since yours was early, no worries. just quick developer, probably the the strongest of the bunch.

If the kitten has opened it's eyes, then it's time. But don't be surprised it the eyes close again. I've raised many litters of cats while working as a foster mom for my local shelter, and the eyes can start opening and closing again as early as two days old.
It's normal, don't be worried. If mom hasn't abandoned the kitten, and it's eating correctly and gaining weight, then it's a healthy little thing.

Seem intently at your kittens, my kittens eyes would crack open however now not open the entire manner. So is your kittens eyes opening up all the manner, or just cracked within the corners? They don't frequently open their eyes up all of the approach until ten days. I do know you don't want to move your cat to the vet, and that i trust that. But maybe you could name the vet and ask his recommendation over the telephone

It depends on the cats. If they open their eyes, then it's the right time for them. As long as they appear healthy you're good.

Usually they open them after a week, but they still can't see very well. Anyway, there is no such thing as too soon. If it happened, it was time for it.

My uncle breeds cats so from what I 've heard, I think its totally normal!!!!! Don 't sweat it your kittens fine and perfectly normal!!!!!!!!
