Please take it from me old cars and 85% ethanol will not run. 15% might even cause problems. I have been seeing lots of fuel injectors failing.

Considering states like Iowa are making it so all gasoline contains some ethanol to help reduce the prices, I would be forced to assume that yes older cars will run fine with ethanol.

Yes they can but not the new E85. There is too much ethanol in it ant it will swell the rubber components in the fuel system.

you can run carb engines on ethanol if you replace all of the rubber parts in the system with neoprene and change the jets in the carburetor to 20% larger ones... but then youd have to change the jets back to run regular gasoline.

it will run but it will destroy the fuel system.
