mr dominc lalor is my father,and ive lost touch with him.any ideas on how to find out if he is still alive etc.thankyou.

lalor is not a common name in Ireland, I had a look in the Dublin phone book and there are less than a hundred listings. Lawlor is a more common name.
there is no entry for a lalor in Vesey Park , or lawlor for that matter.
The only other way to check is the registrar of elections, at a library. or on this link
http://www.checktheregister.ie/
but if he has moved or if address is wrong , it won't give you the information.
Lucan is in south Dublin county council.

If you have the address, write a letter to the house. Are you sure the surname is right? It could be Lawlor!If you do write a leter, make sure you put Co. Dublin on the envelope You could also stick an ad in the local Lucan paper. You will be able to find it on Google. I live in the next area to Lucan but the Dublin county is huge, the chances of you finding someone on this that knows this person are really really slim.

Why don't you go to www.goldenpages.ie and click on residential listings to see if there's a phone number, and phone him?
Alternatively you can use the address you supplied, get a piece of paper, an envelope, a pen and a stamp and WRITE HIM A LETTER.
