This isn't another way to promote my siging, AT ALL - I'm generally too shy to have my voice heard anyway - but another question I've answered gave me an idea...
Astrology says that the ruler of the voice and mind, is mercury. So technically, you should be able to guess someone's mercury sign by hearing them talk or sing. Also, there's a lot more to it (which house is mercury in? What planets does it aspect?)
So I just want to know, by listening to my singing voice, whether you can figure out my mercury sign ---- or even harder; my sun sign?

Funny, actually, since the writer of the song (Sarah McLachlan) is an Aquarius with Capricorn moon - and Aquarius mercury, from what I remember, and most her lyrics are ironic or dark rather than emotional... needless to say I'm a big fan of hers, right?
Incidentally - since someone mentioned Bjork I had a look at her chart - Bjork's Mercury is in Sagittarius. Too bad I don't know her time of birth...

Actually singing is ruled by the planet Venus which rules Taurus. And Taurus rules the throat and the vocal chords.

Just for the record, Venus is the planet which has to do with the voice and music. I would guess that it's somewhere in your 12th house...like in Pisces.

Given the choice of song - I would say cancer.
given that its karaoke it would be hard to tell by the song, so many people try to imitate the singer that it becomes hard to really tell the real voice of the person. so i would go by choice of song (the only true self-expression in it)
