I've never been a Yankees fan, but I'm so rooting for A-Rod to stay healthy and get it done by the time he's 40.
Now than Ken Griffey Jr seems to be making a nice comeback after all those injury-ridden years in Cincinnati, I'd like to see him bow out with class and dignity . . . and retire with the all-time HR record. Time was, back in the mid-1990s with the Mariners, he was the most feared guy on the diamond. (and then his ex-teammate A-Rod would break it a few years later, if a-Rod's health held up.)
It's still early in his career, but I'd be very happy for Albert Pujols if he, too, passed Barry Bonds.
