Why are white men so intrigued with dating black women (while still showing racial prejudices towards black men) and why are black women so drawn in by white males, instead of feeling some sort of loyalty towards their race? (and please don't act as if you can't see their prejudices)

A MOMENT OF CLARITY:

When I said "loyalty to your race" I was speaking about the black women who are dating white men that are obviously prejudice, not all black women that are dating white men, and please, please, please... stop acting as if most white males are not prejudiced against black males!

Statically of Black men who marry in straightforward terms 7% practice miscegenation and in straightforward terms 5% are with White women. The documents are decrease between Black women. So my factor is that if 93p.c.of Black men are marrying Black women why could I be fascinated with the 7% that don't? And as you apart from would reported the documents are even decrease between Black women. i'm for the maintenance and advertising of Black love, Black cohesion and the Black relatives. i do no longer care why White men are no longer marrying Black women. opposite to the sensationalized media the US Census speaks for itself. additionally i'm able to assert individually i do no longer understand any Black/White interracial couples individually and that i understand many married couples. in fact in simple terms this 12 months I witness many weddings between my friends and relatives that have been between Black men and Black women. So back why could I be fascinated with one among those small team of folk?

Why should I feel that way towards all white men? I actually am more attracted to white men so I date only white men, and in this mind frame, I dont want to think of myself as 'sleeping with the enemy'. I know the history of American slavery, and the history of most white men and black women in those days. I say MOST because there were white men who married black women in those time, only they had to go to Europe, where they could live freely without society judging them.

It comes down to tastes and the draw of the exotic.

You may wish to reword your question as it sounds as if you are showing your prejudice against white men.

Why does anyone have to be loyal towards there race? It sounds as if you would prefer a them vs us culture with neither black or whit mixing. I would be happy that in the modern day people have the right to date who they like with no fear.

I don't really know how to answer this question. I date a white man, well we're engaged and he does show some racism toward black men but not black woman. I think its just a power thing and old racial tension. He is changing everyday because of our talks, but maybe its more of a guy thing than a race thing.

Get over yourself. I'm a black woman who dates white men, and chooses not to date black men because several of the ones I've met are only focused on being "gangstas" or "pimps" or "playas" or trying to get in my pants, NOT because I'm prejudice against them.

I know a few black men that are respectful and making the best out of their lives, but I wouldn't date them because I don't feel a sexual attraction to them. So, if a black woman wants to date a white guy, or a white man wants to date a black woman, what are you going to do, HUH?? What are you going to do? *u*

Because black women are good comedians. They're funny as hell. White women are OK, but I guess a little too serious. But, then again, it depends on the person.

Why are you asking about men and women being attracted to each other?

Is this not the gay and lesbian section?

I don't know how prevelent this is, but, I find caucasian women can be very vain and limited in their questioning of culture. African american women are more likely to have a bit of soul to them lacking it seems in the typical american gal these days.
