I just bought my first brand new car, and two hours later got rear ended! Can you believe it? It took so much time and effort for me to finally commit to the new huge payments and now it has been in an accident! WTF. Okay, so it could be worse but how do I know if it will ever be the same? Can they tell if the frame is cracked or bent? I need it to be back to 100%. It looks like the bumper just needs to be replaced but I got hit pretty hard. BTW it is a 07 Civic coupe. Help me ease my pissiness.

Really bad luck.Any good bodyshop can repair the damage.When done it will good as new or better.Best of luck in the future.

You poor thing! That really sucks. Sometimes is seems that having a new car is like a magnet for damage. It depends on how badly it was hit. Minor damage can be easily fixed as good as new but if the trunk (or hatch back) does not close properly or if the gaps between the doors and rear quarter panels are not perfect, I would trade the car in and get a new one ASAP. It will cost you more money but your car is worth the most it is ever going to be worth right now. As time goes by the value drops and the problems (such as leaks and rattles) become worse.

take it to a body shop that is good next yes they can tell if the frame is bent or broken and yes they can bring it back 100% also tell them you want to use factory parts not oe parts

honda is a unibody...no frame...they can fix them pretty good.....good as new....???? and jax is right...make sure genuine honda parts...my sister got chinese fenders on her truck and 4 yrs later they not only rusted but rusted through!!!
