Sometimes I'm surprised that such a good song on a previous album can be left off an artist's greatest hits compilation. If you feel the same way, do you have any favorite examples?

I can't believe they left Hotel California off The Eagle's Greatest Hits. It's obviously one, if not their greatest, hit but it's not on the album. NOW I HAVE TO BUY 2 ALBUMS. CUNNING BASTARDS!
