Alright, Im in the market for a newer used car, BUT heres the catch, I want a car that is reliable and long lasting, you know a car that will be around after 70k given you drive it "normal" and proper maitenince. But anyway i want a car that is economical, YET fun to drive and fairly quick. Which would you prefer?

none of the models you listed. They are all clones of the Mitsubishi Evolution and the Subaru WRX.

Go with the originals.

The SRT-4 is a very fast and fun car to drive. You may be able to find a ACR stage 3 turbo that pumps out 300hp on premium pump gas. now you won't get great mileage out of it,but it would be fun. Ultimately it is still a dodge neon.
I don't know a whole lot about a ion redline, but I have driven one. It was a pretty nice car and really kicked it on when you hit the gas. Saturn has made a big turn around in quality, so that would be a pretty good bet.
here in the central US, the Cobalt SS is very hard to find new and even harder to find used. they are nice cars and you generally can't go wrong with a chevy.
I know 2 people who have Focus SVTs and they have had nothing but problems with them. yea, they can be fun to drive, but that's only if it will start and run. I am not saying all fords are bad, but since i know of 2 that are having problems, I tend to rationalize that the majority of the Focus SVTs are not too good.

The two cars in the middle with the ecotech 2.0 liter engine with a supercharger. Trust me there is just enough power. Then you get a pulley boys smaller pulley on it and void your warranty. A buddy of mine is driving a stage three tuned Colbalt SS suposed to have over 240 at the wheels. Outruns Mustang GT's. He's smart the next ecotech engine is already ready when the one in the car fails. Then the even larger supercharger go's on. Economical I guess power means $$$
