I crochet pretty baby blankets that I used to donate to a charity that distributed in Hospitals.?
They no longer distribute. Looking for a new place to donate blankets.

I think it's great that you donate your blankets. I wish I had enough time to crochet and make enough to donate on a regular basis.

Anyway, some places you can donate are:

:: Women's shelters, they could always use donations of blankets to help the women who have babies

:: Salvation Army or Goodwill you can donate them so they can sell and further their activities

:: Dept. of Children's Services. I'm not sure if they take donations, but they would be in need of baby blankets for their young clients.

I hope that helps. If nothing else, you can always donate your blankets to the closest hospital to you. I'm sure they would really appreciate it.

Try the police station. I think they carry children's blankets in their trunk in case a child is in shock or traumatized.

Try the association that handles abused kids, CFA, ours is called. A lot of times a baby will come with absolutely nothing, and a sweet blanket would calm the baby and touch the heart of a foster mom.

If you send me an email, I'll send you links to a couple of places that would be ever so grateful to recieve warm blankets! Thank you for doing this. I've done needlework and sewing for decades and I still can't knit/crochet worth a hoot.
