My ex that I dated for four years called me last night and said she had some catching up to do which is strange, because she changed her number solely because she didn't want me to contact her on account of her new man's orders.

First of all, I wasn't the crazy ex. I only called her ever so often to say hi like a friend would. Second of all, she had not contacted me at all 5 months prior to this random call. Third of all, she told me that she couldn't be my friend at all around the same time because of her new boy friend. He's very insecure and hates my guts...which is strange seeing how she left me for him. I was doing fine not talking to her any more and then she comes crashing into my life again. Pleeeease...this has happened to me too many times with her. She says she is going to talk to him and tell him that she will be my friend.

Honestly though, what kind of "friend" leaves you high and dry after 4-5 years of friendship on account of a guy she's known for 1 year?

If you have a friend that is more of an aquaintance of a higher level but you are getting to know them more and more as a friend and they write you and say hey girl! .. does this mean they see you as a friend??
Also.. they say it first in a nonformal way instead of calling you by your first name which they had always done before. by the way ... this is 2 females.. and just friendship.. not lesbian!

If they are making money while they are here illegally, is not that money the same as money a drug maker earns? And we sieze the money and belongings of drug makers when we catch them. So, shouldn't we do the same to the money that illegal aliens make?

I don't think Americans are bad as a whole but they live in a bubble they only know their own history and disregard the rest of the world as being so far behind them but when you think about it how were disputes settled a thousand years ago... oh yeah one country would invade the other kill off their people and take their resources.. Most Countries use more of a diplomatic approach now but evolution seems to be forgetting all those yanks.. America and North Korea are so similar both have no idea the outlook the rest of the world has of them.. it's sad but even more scary..

It is hard to imagine any scientific theory that is more helpful to religious belief than evolution. Given what we now know about the natural world, if we believe God created everything directly, we would have to believe that God intentionally created our breathing and eating apparatus with the serious potential for choking; that God created parasites to devour their prey alive; that God created insects to digest their mates during the sex act; that God tried making eyes on humans and other organisms, then had a flash of insight and realized that if he wired them the other way around it would make more sense and there would be no blind spot, and so he went on to make squid and octopus eyes the "right way around".

Without evolution, we could only believe in an inept and sadistic creator. So why are so many people who claim to believe in a benevolent, omnipotent and wise creator opposed to the one explanation of these facets of biology that can preserve these beliefs?

I live in Houston. Any of the North area hospitals, even up to Conroe, would be fine. I want to get on as a unit secretary or receptionist. I've applied at every single one online or by fascimile.
