well the worst and most memorable time was 2 years ago in North Carolina. My aunt Margaret asked me what i wanted to be when i grew up, i told her i wanted to be a writer. and she said "Well you probably aren't, so maybe you should think of something else... when my kids were your age they had a bit more realistic dreams."

Day before yesterday on here. A person said I looked like a child molester. My whole purpose of my life the last almost 12 years has been to help people. Her comment really hurt me.

Once a in a while- I guess. words can hurt- but the hurt could be beneficial. If a loved one tells me something that hurts but is warranted, then I needed it to change and grow.
take things in perspective.
Even hurtful words are beneficial!

A little while ago my fiance made an offhand comment about him doing his thing first and the other thing he was referring to was a family thing so I took it like he meant that family things weren't his thing. It was a kind of confusing situation but I took it that his work came first and his words hurt me.
