in the abduction of poor little Madeleine it must be playing on their minds constantly.

How do you get over something like this happening especially when you are away on holiday trying to get away from the stresses and worries of eveyday life.

Were you there and how are you coping knowing that you could only watch and not help?

My wife and I argued so I left. When I returned home I found the door locked. I forcefully entered my house, through the door, while she was calling the police. I was charged with domestic violence because she wrote out and signed a peice of paper saying she was in fear of her safety.

Now, my wife is remorsefull and just wants me to come home. We have a history of arguing and calling the cops but no physical violence.

My wife and I will never be the same again. This over zelous police officer has turned our lives upside down. What can I do to keep this police officer from wrongfully taking anyone else to jail?

I went to araignment and pled not guilty. I'll be at the lawyers office friday.

Anyone have anything similiar happen? Please help.

I just watched a show on the History Channel (I think) about the 2012 Doomsday predictions. I had never even heard of such a prediction outside of the Bible, but the show did list several sources for the reasoning behind the demise of the Earth around that time.

I am most interested in the Scientific basis for the theory. It stated in that program that in the year 2012 that the Earth and Sun will be at the center of the Milky Way, and will cross over the universe's "equator" and, this change will force the Earth to change the magnetic polarity of our North and South Poles. (North pole will register South, and visa versa). This monumental change would create widespread havock on our planet. Causing worldwide mass extinctions, volcano's, and earthquakes. (They stated that the planet has in fact changed its magnetic polarity before, 800 million years ago).

It was an eye opening program to watch. Any thoughts?!

Has any body ever owned one? i have owned 100s cars ,this out performs, out classes never brakes down, never needs parts, fantastic on fuel it is 16v injection auto. 1600. haynes has not made a manual for it. but it is so straight forward that you dont really need one. what car have you had, that no one else has ever heard of?

Right now in Quebec city there are parents refusing to give their newborn baby twins a blood transfusion to save their little life pretexting their religion beleives forbids them (Jehovah witnesses). The court had to take this matter into their hands and proceed with the transfusion. The parents are outraged and are taking their case to Supreme court. Those parents have dying newborn babies and spend their time in their lawyers office coming up with strategies to let their babies die. Same thing happend with sixtuplets in Vancouver and the Supreme Court had to take the children away from their parents to proceed with the medical treatment.

How can you let a religion brainwash you to the point you will let your children die?

I have a friend who I like going out with (movies, hanging in the park, etc). I would like to sleep with her on a regular basis but do not want to date her because I am fearing commitment at the moment (bad breakup with last one) but I also do not want to hurt her. Should I try the friends with benefits scenario (as everyone needs some lovin') and see how it goes or just leave it because I am not ready for a relationship and don't want to put her emotions at risk.

PS - I know she likes me and we have just fooled around - not taken it to the next level yet.

Hi, I am currently training for road cycling, I would like to race next season. I am still pretty new at the sport, even though I've always been cycling and always been a cycling fan. I am having problem going up hills ... any tips? Or is it just that ... the more hills I'll cycle, the easyer it will get? Thanks
